To be considered for the “large workplaces” category, companies must claim over 1,000 employees, as well as meet several other standards.

Once researchers determine the eligible companies, female employees submit a 60-question survey about their experience in the workplace. Survey results primarily determine the rankings.

Not only did Encompass Health make the list, they also made the top 10, ranking at #6! They ranked above American Express, Hulu, and more giants. Check out the full list of rankings.

Methodology

To determine the list, researchers analyzed anonymous survey feedback representing more than 4.6 million U.S. employees.

The minimum requirement for consideration is employing at least 50 women, with at least 20% of their non-executive managers being female, and at least one of their executives being female.
