3 ways Adamson Ford gives back to Birmingham during the Holidays
Sponsored
The staff at Adamson Ford is known around Birmingham for being kind, generous and courteous all year long. As the holidays are upon us, we want to highlight some of the good things Adamson Ford is doing to help make Birmingham better. We also sat down with a few members of their team to find out what they’re thankful for.
1. Community Outreach: A Year in Review
The Adamson Ford team works hard both in the office and out in the Birmingham community. Just this year, they have worked with an impressive number of charities and organizations, including the following:
- Just People Project
- Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
- Mega Missions
- Kidsafe
- Lyme Disease Foundation
- Kidone Transport
In addition, they have contributed to outreach events like blood drives, back to school charities and a community crawfish boil.
Check out this feature on their work earlier in the year with the Just People Project.
2. Thanksgiving At Adamson Ford
There is a real family atmosphere at Adamson Ford. We sat down with a few members of their team to find out what they are thankful for. While we were filming, everyone was talking and laughing with each other, just like a big family. The team is humble, gracious and thankful for you — their wonderful customers.
3. 2018 Holiday Season Canned Goods and Stocking Drive
This holiday season, Adamson Ford is running a canned food drive and filling stockings with holiday gifts for Just People Project. The Just People Project is a non-profit that focuses on serving the homeless in Birmingham. They work on immediate needs, like serving meals and providing toiletries or clothing. They are a Christian- based organization, so they also work to get the homeless community to a church service.
Adamson Ford worked with staff from the Irondale Walmart who helped donate canned goods for the drive.
Adamson Ford is currently hosting a stocking drive for which they purchase stockings and then work to fill them with gifts for the holidays. They are planning to fill the stockings with the following items:
- Shampoo, conditioner and soap
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Kleenex
- Crackers
- Gloves and hats
- Lotion and chapstick
- Hot hands
- Socks
- Vienna sausages
- Slim Jims
- Little Debbie tree snacks
- Crossword puzzles
- Small notepads
You see, shopping for your new car with Adamson Ford means that you are supporting a local business full of great folks who give back to the Birmingham community in so many ways. The people are friendly and they care about Birmingham!
