You’ve heard the story. So the American beatboxer and Siberian throat singers walk into a bar….

Just kidding, of course.

But on Wednesday night in Jacksonville, Alabama checkout “SHU-DE!” a documentary film about a one of a kind musical collaboration – an American beatboxer and an ensemble of Siberian throat singers, who literally live and come from societies that are from opposite ends of the earth.

It’s magical.

The second film in the Longleaf Film Series – SHU-DE! will be showing on October 12th, 7:00pm at the Jacksonville State University’s Longleaf Studios. The studio is located at 1 O’Connell St. SW in Jacksonville, Alabama (just off campus).

After viewing the film, meet “SHU-DE!” director and producer Michael Faulkner, who will be on hand to discuss the film. The evening promises to be a “must attend” for documentary film fans.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts 7 p.m. Popcorn and light snacks will be provided. Admission is free for students or $5 for Gen. Admission.
