MoCaFi, with the goal of closing the racial wealth gap, is hosting “On Our Block” a pop-up event to engage local Birmingham residents on pathways to homeownership and wealth creation.NEW YORK, NY — On Saturday, July 22nd at 12pm, MoCaFi—a financial technology firm dedicated to expanding access to banking services for underserved communities—will host a pop-up event called “On Our Block” to engage with Birmingham communities on financial literacy and the foundations of wealth creation. The event, sponsored by Truist, will feature a keynote panel with Birmingham Neighborhood Housing Services CEO Carol Clarke, and Executive Director Birmingham Business Resource Center Bob Dickerson,as well as homeownership coaching sessions with the Birmingham Urban League and other HUD providers. https://mocafi.com/onourblock-old/birmingham/
