Ensley Renaissance Festival 2023

The much-anticipated Ensley Renaissance Festival is back to ignite the streets of Ensley with a remarkable celebration of unity, diversity, and local talent. On Saturday, July 29, the entire community is invited to gather at Tuxedo Ballroom for a day filled with music, food, kid activities and countless memories that will resonate for years to come.

The Ensley Renaissance Festival, now in its 6th year, has established itself as a premier event, bringing together residents, businesses, and organizations in an extraordinary display of community pride. This year’s festival promises to be the biggest and most exciting edition yet, surpassing all expectations.

Highlights of the Ensley Renaissance Festival 2023 include:
– Resource Organizations: Renew Birmingham has added partners to provide assistance in the areas of Housing, Adult Education/Workforce Development, and jobs/Transportation. Youth Services & Community Health and Wellness.
-Stellar Musical Performances: Get ready to groove to the rhythm of some of the finest local and regional musical acts including Christian rapper Dru Toney, Ensley’s own Ashley Sankey and Grammy-nominated Alvin Garrett.
-Create Community Connections: Connect with neighbors to share time, ideas and a willingness to invest in making our community better.
-Delicious Delights: Food lovers rejoice! The festival will feature various delectable culinary offerings, including favorites like Aww Shucks, Adorned Sweets, Mama Mia and much more. Live HealthSmart Alabama will be onsite with their Mobile Market and free cooking demonstrations.
-Family-Friendly Activities: The Ensley Renaissance Festival is a day of fun for the whole family. Kids will have a blast with dedicated play areas, exciting games, face painting, character appearances and engaging activities tailored just for them. Parents can relax knowing their children are entertained and safe in this family-friendly environment.

Also, Miss Juneteenth 2023 Kyla Carr will make a special appearance.

Local Artisans and Vendors: Discover hidden treasures and support local businesses and artisans at the festival’s indoor marketplace. Explore an eclectic mix of handcrafted products, unique artworks, and specialty goods that reflect the talent and creativity of our community members.

The Ensley Renaissance Festival will take place on Saturday, July 29 from 3-7 pm at Tuxedo Ballroom, located at 2001 Avenue D. Advance tickets are available at $15 and $20 on the day of. This event would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors.
