Alabama Wildlife Center’s BBQ Bash

Alabama Wildlife Center is hosting BBQ Bash, an inaugural barbecue competition, on October 7th, 2023 at Brock’s Gap Brewing Company from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M.

Calling all backyard grillers, businesses, and barbecue enthusiasts! Join AWC for a sizzling day of mouthwatering food, friendly competition, and camaraderie as we celebrate the art of barbecue in support of Alabama’s native wild birds at BBQ Bash.

Alabama Wildlife Center is a nonprofit organization that specializes in the rehabilitation and conservation of Alabama’s native wild birds. They take in almost 2,000 wild bird patients from over more than 100 species annually. AWC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is not funded by the state of Alabama or the park system, and solely operates through community support and individual donors.
