The City of Leeds shared the announcement on its Facebook page, celebrating another business choosing to invest in the growing community.
While no address has been announced, it will be located at Cedar Springs Shopping Center on Asheville Road near Bama Flea Mall.
The drive-thru coffee chain is known for its expansive menu featuring specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, teas and breakfast options. Scooter’s upcoming Leeds location will be its third in the Birmingham area, which includes two on Highway 280.
What’s new in Leeds?
Scooter’s isn’t the only thing coming to Leeds later this year.
Back in September, we reported that Big Mama’s, a popular food truck that offers up made-from-scratch, home-cooked meals, plans to open a meat and three “grab and go” restaurant concept in Leeds this coming December.
The new eatery will be located at 1689 10th Street SE in the downtown area.
