Zozo’s Kitchen coming to Riverchase in Hoover

Remember when we told you the Cassimus family, founders of Zoe’s Kitchen, were bringing their familiar menu back under a new name? Well, there’s another location on the way! Zozo’s Kitchen is opening a new location in Riverchase, and it’s bringing its popular Greek-inspired favorites with it.

Zozo’s Kitchen coming soon to Hoover

We first filled you in on Zozo’s Kitchen back in April, when the Cassimus family announced plans for its new restaurant venture. The Homewood flagship opened in May 2026. Now, a new Riverchase location is taking shape, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.

Here’s what we know:

• Location: 1851 Montgomery Hwy, Ste 101, Hoover (Former Hunan Garden space)
• Opening date: TBD

What’s on the Zozo’s Kitchen menu?

If you loved Zoe’s Kitchen back in the day, you might recognize a few things on the menu. When we first spoke with owner John Cassimus about Zozo’s, he shared some of the family’s longtime favorites that customers can expect to find, including:

• Chicken rollup
• Chicken salad sandwich
• Ribeye rollup

Zozo’s serves fresh Greek and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, with family photos spanning three decades featured inside each location.

The upcoming Hoover restaurant joins Zozo’s Kitchen locations in Homewood, Cahaba Heights and Tuscaloosa.
