Mobile-born Mo’Bay Beignet Co. is heading to the Birmingham area under a new combined name.

Robinson opened the first Mo’Bay Beignet Co. in Mobile nearly seven years ago. She launched Bay Town Burger Co. in West Mobile in fall 2021. The brand also has locations in Huntsville and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Reflecting on the journey, Robinson said:

“So much has happened in the almost 7 years since I first opened the doors to Mo’Bay Beignet Co. in Mobile, AL. So many experiences…tons of highs, a few lows, lots of lessons learned…always growing and evolving.”

She described the new spot as one of a kind.

“I’m excited about what this new adventure looks like. It will be unique to the Birmingham area and a location unlike any other that we have had yet.”

When Mo’Bay Beignet & Burger Co. will open

A team is working to open the Chelsea location before the end of the year. No opening date has been announced.

Robinson asked longtime fans to follow the new location on social media and share it with Birmingham-area friends and family.
