3. UAB Medicine GT World Alabama benefitting Teal Wings of Hope

• What: SRO Motorsports America brings adrenaline-filled Gran Turismo racing to Barber Motorsports Park for a full weekend of action, Sept. 25–27. Watch five racing series, with cars like Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Aston Martin and more, plus get close-up views of the supercars with open paddock access, driver autograph sessions and a Grid Walk. Proceeds from the event will benefit Teal Wings of Hope in the fight against ovarian cancer.

6. Roll Call: Two Hundred Years of Black American Art opening reception

• What: The Birmingham Museum of Art’s newest exhibition is opening to the public and holding a reception on September 25. The exhibit will feature curated works from the museum’s existing collections, highlighting the impact of Black artists and opening a larger conversation around their contributions to the museum’s collection. 7. “Opening Night in Hollywood” benefiting Alabama Symphony Orchestra
