Need a reason to get out of bed on Saturday morning? We bet BHAM Coffee Fest will do the trick. It’s brewing at Pepper Place on Sept. 26, 2026 and promises enough buzz to get you out early for local coffee, good vibes and a chance to support the Lakeshore Foundation.

What to expect at BHAM Coffee Fest, Sept. 26, 2026

There will be plenty to sip, discover and enjoy throughout the morning, from tasting sessions with local coffee shops and roasters to demos on how to make the perfect cup.

Lakeshore Foundation will also be part of the festival, giving attendees a chance to learn more about the Birmingham nonprofit and the work supported by the event.

Plus, since BHAM Coffee Fest takes place during the Pepper Place’s weekly Saturday Farmers Market, you’ll also be able to support local farmers and crafters who will be set up selling everything from honeys and jams to jewelry and flowers.

BHAM Coffee Fest supports Lakeshore Foundation

As delicious as the coffee will be, the event is about so much more.

All proceeds benefit the Lakeshore Foundation. For 100 years, the organization has served the Birmingham community by providing physical activity, research and advocacy programs for people with physical disabilities and chronic health conditions.

Here’s the cool part: since 2003, Lakeshore has been an official U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site.

Some of the sports include:
