Samford Horizons

In December 2023, Samford University Board of Trustees unanimously approved the first phase of the Samford Horizons plan—a visionary set of potential campus improvements that responds to the university’s sustained growth in enrollment.
The strategic plan has seen a lot of movement since 2023, with the development of:
- $85 million Recreation, Wellness and Athletic Complex
- Audrey Lattimore Gaston residence hall
- 2 upper-division residence halls
- An approximately 600-space parking addition
- Cafeteria renovations
With the addition of Creekside, Samford University, the City of Homewood and partners are helping create a sustainable future for residents and visitors alike.
