Featuring picks from some of Birmingham’s vintage clothing sellers, you’re sure to find a hidden gem.

4. The Craft Burger | Highway 280

An award-winning burger joint has opened a new location on Highway 280 across from Lee Branch Village. Craft Burger is a local favorite known for tasty smash burgers with signature sauce served on their delicious potato buns.

Don’t like burgers? I happen to think Craft Burger also has the best chicken caesar wrap in town.

If you’re like me and already brainstorming your Halloween costumes in July, you need to know about this spooky upcoming project.

This September, Conjure Haunted Attraction is bringing all things scary, creepy and crawly to Birmingham. The best part? It also supports a good cause. The attraction also serves as a non-profit benefitting Andrew’s Place, an organization dedicated to helping LGBTQIA+ survivors of domestic abuse.

6. Hoover Steaks & Wines | Knox Square Development

This July, Hoover Steaks & Wines announced plans to open later this year. A brand-new store offering high-end specialty meats, seafood, fine wines, gourmet sides and desserts, it will be located at the Knox Square development in Hoover.

We’ve been teasing it for months, but now it’s getting real—the first tenant at The Edge development in Homewood is opening later this month. Baba Java Coffee serves crafted coffee drinks, teas and even gelato pops.

We will have bags of freshly roasted beans, brewing supplies, expertly crafted drinks, teas, and educational events designed to help customers have an excellent coffee experience even when they are brewing at home. This location will also have our Popbar pops. They are all-natural, house-made gelato pops.”
