Legion FC’s closest MLS team, Atlanta United led the league once again in attendance this past year averaging 47,000+ per match.

In 2018, the club won the MLS title.

The January 27 friendly will open Legion’s sixth season in the USL Championship. In 2021, the first soccer game at Protective Stadium was a match between Legion FC  and Atlanta, our neighbors from down interstate 20.

More good news for Legion fans. Standouts Enzo Martinez, Alex Crognale, Phanuel Kavita, Mikey Lopez, and Matt VanOekel are returning for the 2024 campaign.
