Yummy Bowl Mongolian Stir-Fry & Sushi is opening a second restaurant in the Birmingham-metro area this coming fall.

The popular eatery already has a sign up at its newest location within the River Ridge Shopping Center at 4606 U.S. Highway 280 near Dollar Tree, World Market and Academy Sports.

Yummy Bowl offers sushi, stir-fry and more

If you haven’t been to Yummy Bowl, you are in for a treat.

Here’s a peek at what you can expect on the menu:

  • Special “Build Your Bowl”  with various vegetables and meats
  • Three dozen varieties of sushi dishes
  • Stir-fry rice and noodles

According to staff at Yummy Bowl’s original location in Homewood off Lakeshore Parkway, the second location is scheduled to open in late October.

The River Ridge Shopping Center has seen a number of changes over the past couple of years. In April 2026, the Painted Tree, a vendor-based home decor space, closed after only a few months in operation

In 2024, major retailers Marshalls and Academy Sports replaced Nordstrom Rack and Staples along that particular lineup of stores within River Ridge.
