NEW: Ippin Ramen on 280 is now open

A new restaurant has opened on 280– Ippin Ramen is celebrating its grand opening at 3000 Meadow Lake Drive. The new spot is now serving up all kinds of Chinese specialties, ramen and bubble tea.

From Golden City 2 to Ippin Ramen

Ippin Ramen is not exactly new in town. The restaurant, which was formerly called Golden City 2, has been completed renovated and rebranded to feature all new menu items and ambiance.

In a recent Facebook post by Friends of 280, the restaurant’s owners expressed their excitement about the new and improved location.

So, what exactly can you get at Ippin Ramen? Their menu features a wide array of dishes ranging from Chinese, Japanese and Thai specialties including lo mein, udon, ramen, hibachi and more. Here are some popular menu highlights:

• Mongolian beef
• Tonkatsu ramen
• Fried dumplings
• Orange chicken
• Moo shu pork

Boba tea & yakult

Ippin Ramen also offers specialty drinks, such as milk tea and yakult. Typically, standard boba is a black tea with flavored milk and tapioca pearls. With the addition of several flavors to choose from, you can mix and match to create your perfect boba tea.

Here are some of the boba flavors served at Ippin Ramen:

• Taro
• Strawberry
• Mango
• Brown sugar

Additionally, they serve yakult– a probiotic, yogurt-like drink that is sweet and a little tangy. Flavors include:
