UWCA’s park project will go beyond just construction- they intend to create long term partnerships for annual beautification and cleanup, as well as future expansions, creating endless volunteer opportunities for the community. Each park will have updated fitness and play equipment- including swings and pickleball courts.
Working with local leadership- individual parks will be updated based on specific community needs and feedback.
“I’m so excited to be here to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new pavilion and soccer field at Franklin Park. This has been a long time coming, and I’m so grateful for the people who made this work a reality. This park will be a wonderful addition to our community and will provide a place for people of all ages to come together and enjoy the outdoors. I know that this project will be a cherished asset for our community for many years to come.”
Tarrant Mayor, Wayman Newton
