1. Trattoria Zaza

If your New Year’s resolution is to eat more pasta and pizza by the slice, the folks at Trattoria Zaza will be there to help make your dream a reality by kicking off 2023 with their normal operating hours. 2. The Essential

Coming off their week-long brunch-a-thon, visit one of our favorite spots on Morris Avenue. Their staff will be kicking off the new year with brunch all day long. Crossing our fingers that the weather will let us enjoy ourselves on their fantastic patio.

3. Saw’s Juke Joint

The only branch of one of Birmingham’s favorite BBQ places open on New Year’s Day, do we need to say more? Start 2023 with their classic sweet tea fried chicken sandwich, fried green tomatoes, pulled pork sandwiches, and more!

4. Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint
