1. Cahaba Dermatology’s 10th Annual Open House

Plus, you can take everything home with you on sale day or choose a pickup day or local delivery.
  • When: (In-person) Saturday, October 22 at 8AM-1PM | (Online) Sunday, October 23 at 11AM-8PM

  • Why go: Enjoy fall festivities with hay and pony rides, bounce houses, yard games, guided hikes, crafts, food trucks and shopping with local artists.
  • When: Saturday, October 22 | 9AM-4PM
  • Where: Oak Mountain State Park, 200 Terrace Dr, Pelham, AL 35124
  • Cost: $5 for ages 12-61 | $2 for ages 4-11 and 62+ | Free for ages 3 and under + military and veterans

  • Why go: Come hungry and help pick the winners in the best salsa, best queso, best guac and best specialty dip competition. Sharpen your skills with salsa dancing and cooking demos, cheer on college football games across eight screens + groove to tunes on the patio with DJ Rod.
  • When: Saturday, October 22 | 2-6PM

  • Cost: $20 in advance |$25 at the event | Kids 5 and under are free

7. Magic City Witches’ Ball

  • Why go: Witches, get ready. The annual Magic City Witches Ball is back for another incredible night of drinks, dancing, music + tons of Halloween-themed fun.
  • When: Saturday, October 22 | 7PM
  • Where: TrimTab Brewing Company, 2721 5th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35233
  • Cost: $15 at the door

9. Pink Up the Pace 5K & Fun Run

  • Why go: Lace up your shoes and run to raise funds + awareness for local breast cancer research. The fun doesn’t stop after the race—there will be snacks, drinks, face painting, a petting zoo, an inflatable obstacle course + music.
  • When: Sunday, October 23 | 2-5PM

  • Cost: $35 for ages 13+ | $25 for kids 4-12 | Free for kids under 3

10. Trunk or Treat

  • Why go: Your sweet tooth will love this free event with rides, games, prizes for the coolest decorated trunks, local food trucks, and, of course, candy.

11. The Flourish Greenhouse Special: Grand Opening

  • Why go: The Flourish helps young artists find the space and opportunity to thrive. They’re now able to do that even better in their new event space, The Greenhouse. Get excited for live performances, a Q&A with the Flourish Team and more surprises.
