Members of the Vestavia Hills Chambers of Commerce and others came out Wednesday evening, October 5, for the grand opening of Tributary Rise, Phase II. If Tributary Rise sounds familiar, you may have seen the big sign on 280, just across from The Summit, or you may have seen this story about the new apartment complex on the site of the old AT&T Operations Center. Either way, we went to check it out—here’s what we discovered.
Phase II comes with all the amenities
Let’s face it—a big perk of apartment living is the amenities. Who doesn’t love having everything you need right where you live? Tributary Rise already had a lot going for it, including:
- Location: just across the street from The Summit, down the road from Grandview, and close to Interstate 459, it’s close to everything.
- Nature: over 100 acres makes it feel like you live on your own private nature preserve, with:
- 7-acre lake: because who doesn’t love to kayak or paddleboard when they’ve got a spare minute?
- 3 miles of hiking trails: perfect for a daily walk or run
It was already good, but the completion of Phase II rounds out the offerings in a big way.

Now that Phase II is done, residents have all they need to live the Tributary Rise lifestyle, including:
- Coworking space: get your work done while overlooking the Clubhouse, and when you need a break, head to the coffee bar next door.
- Gym: the massive indoor-outdoor concept gym includes both yoga and spin studios, with garage doors that open up to a green space outside and regularly-scheduled classes.
- Grilling stations: in the courtyard beside the parking deck and next to the resort-style pool, you’ll find what you need to make your next cookout a success.
Currently, all amenties are included in the price of rent.
Phase II also offers studio apartments
Tributary Rise already offered one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Now that Phase II is complete, they also have spacious studio apartments.
- Studio apartments, $1300-1390
- One-bedroom apartments, $1705-1760
- Two-bedrooms, $2290-2730
- Three-bedrooms, starting at $3005
