Y’all, we live in Alabama—our country side is bound to come out every now and then. With cooler weather, rodeos and Halloween around the corner, it’s time to make sure you have a good pair of cowboy boots on hand. Here are seven stores around the Greater Birmingham Area to find boots worth stomping in.

1. Clotheshorse

My BFF found a pair of Tecovas here for $90—talk about a steal! From brown, leather boots to sparkles and bold colors, it will always be a surprise of what boots you find at Clotheshorse.

Owned by couple Tim and Becky Sager, Clotheshorse is one of my favorite consignment stores in Birmingham. I’m sure you’ll find a cute outfit to go with your boots while you’re here—it’s almost impossible to leave empty-handed.

If you’re willing to spend more $$$, Tecovas has some high-quality, stylin’ boots. With headquarters in Texas and made in Mexico, there are boots and accessory options for both men and women. Every country music lover knows beer is essential with a pair of boots—Tecovas offers you a free, cold one when you come in.

3. Stampede

Down the road from the Riverchase Galleria, Stampede has been selling knockin’ boots to Birmingham for 43 years. There are options for both men and women. Brands you can find in the store include Ariat, Justin, Tony Lama, Abilene, Lucchese and Old West.

Looking for accessories to go with your cowboy boots? We think you should look for a cowboy hat or buckle while you’re here to top off your look.

4. Don Walker’s Western Wear

Look no further than Don Walker’s Western wear for men’s and women’s western boots. Some of the brands this store sells include Ariat, Rocky, Justin Boots, Lucchese, Georgia Boot and Tony Lama.

Do you want to have the whole family match? There are also cowboy boots available for kids—too cute!

5. Cavender’s Western Outfitter

On US Highway 280, this store has a bit of everything—we’re talking about square, round, punchy and snip toe boot options for the whole fam. Cavender’s has some of the most popular western brands, including Ariat, Corral and Justin.

While you’re here, you might as well go all out with the country look. You can find just about everything here from clothes to accessories and home decor.

You may know Hide & Hunter for it’s stunning, handmade leather bags made by owner Hannah Christine. However, we know a secret—they also have vintage boots available sometimes.

If you’re looking for a full western look, Hannah’s store is the real-life Pinterest board. I’m talking about an abundance of leather, fringe and hats.
