Do you recognize Bill Smith’s name? Well, he’s a Bham native and started another big business that has headquarters in Birmingham. Drumroll…Shipt! In 2018, he sold Shipt to Target for $550 million—talk about a lot of money.

Forbes estimates that his newest venture will be even worth more. For 2022, Landing is estimated to have a revenue of $200 million, which means Landing more than doubled its revenue in 2021. A big factor of why this revenue is so high is due to Landing having apartments in some of the buzziest cities around the country, including:

  • Atlanta
  • Austin
  • Dallas
  • Denver
  • Miami
  • Nashville
