This local spot has been a Birmingham favorite for awhile. Bizzare the Coffee Bar is special, due to the fact that this coffee shop ALSO serves alcohol, food and has live music every week. Because it’s a café by day and bar by night, it’s become quite a hangout spot for local patrons.

The team at Bizzare loves Wednesdays and host specials like Waffle Wednesday and Whiskey Wednesday, as well as karaoke. I mean, could you ask for a better night?

4. Dark Beauty Java

If you’re looking to support local, try Caliber Coffee! Although their blends are currently sold out, they are known to be bold—perfect for those night-shifters. Their blend, Night Shift, is a dark roast that’s perfect for just that.

Caliber is owned by a local law enforcement officer who chased his dreams over pots of coffee and gas station conversations. Be sure to support them through coffee and merch below.
