Kickstart the weekend in a glaze of glory—National Donut Day is Friday, June 3. But that’s not all! Along with delicious donut recs, we have nine don’t-miss events taking place around Birmingham, June 3-5. The only problem—figuring out how to attend them all! Read on for all the details.

1. Adventure Theatre: with Ranger Musky and The Mystery Beast

  • Why go? Birmingham Children’s Theatre is teaming up with local wild spaces in this all-new one-of-a-kind immersive experience. During this exciting outdoor journey, you’ll go on an epic quest to find a new and mysterious creature recently spotted in our local nature preserves. Recommended for kids ages 4-10.

2. Kinky Boots 

  • Why go? During this Tony Award-winning production, follow Charlie Price who has reluctantly inherited his father’s near-bankrupt shoe factory. After meeting a fabulous entertainer named Lola, the unusual duo works together to turn the factory around.

3. Zoo Brews

  • Why go? You’ll experience a fantastic selection of the finest specialty brews + wines with The Birmingham Zoo as your backdrop.
