  • Skincare
  • Soaps and lotions
  • and much more!

If the name sounds familiar, you might’ve popped in their outpost at Pepper Place, FarmStand Birmingham, which carries a number of their products.

What’s the SFA?

Founded in 1952, the SFA is a non-profit, membership-based organization that represents over 3,000+ businesses. The SFA encompasses a number of members, including folks like specialty food importers, entrepreneurs, distributors, retailers and much more.

If you think there isn’t a huge demand for this industry, wait until you hear this: according to the SFA’s website, overall specialty food sales in the U.S. totaled over $148 billion in 2019! So, the ladies at Stone Hollow Farmstead had some serious competition, but STILL came out on top at SFA’s sofi awards this year.

In this year’s sofi awards, Stone Hollow Farmstead won gold in the “functional beverage” category, thanks to their Blueberry Rose Geranium Drinking Vinegar—which you can purchase on their website. PS: You can also find their products in a number of local stores.

So, what makes their drinking vinegar “functional,” you ask? According to SFA’s website, Blueberries contain minerals & vitamins that contribute to building & maintaining bone structure & strength, reduce oxidative stress, and [have] anti-aging benefits.

Bonus: the drink contains Ashwagandha, an herbal medicine believed to reduce anxiety, increase energy and more. Sign us up for two bottles, please.
