According to AIDS Alabama, currently, over 13,000 Alabamians are living with HIV. Though there have been many medical advances that make HIV manageable as a chronic disease, HIV rates in the South remain high and within epidemic proportions, making AIDS Alabama’s prevention, transportation, mental health and housing services vital.

You can have fun and make a difference by gathering friends, neighbors, and coworkers to dine out (or grab breakfast, lunch or snacks) April 28 at participating Dining Out For Life® restaurants in the Birmingham area.

Each restaurant will donate up to 35% of every bill that day to AIDS Alabama.
