WWE Smackdown at The Legacy Arena
Legacy Arena hosted the WWE Smackdown on Friday, March 11. Wrestling fans were pleased to see some of their favorites take the floor, including Big E.
The excitement was real and fans were cheering along, until Big E and fellow wrestler Ridge Holland faced off. In a turn of events, Ridge Holland tossed Big E to the floor and he landed on his head.
Big E was soon surrounded by other wrestlers and received immediate medical attention. He was then taken out of the Arena and straight to UAB.
All smiles from Big E at UAB
The star shared this video on his Instagram page, where he can be seen sporting a neck brace and hospital gown. He said his C1 and C6 vertebrae were fractured in the accident, but no displacement or spinal cord damage occurred.
His injuries won’t require surgery either, which is a big relief. Of course, he was sure to give the UAB crew some love for taking such great care of him after the accident.
