This Weekend in The Magic City
Go, go, go…
To Pepper Place this Saturday, March 12 for the 3rd annual Birmingham Hammerfest. Enjoy races from pro + amateur cyclists, a Kids’ Zone + tons of St. Patrick’s Day fun. Activities begin at 11AM and last all day. Admission is free.
Stand up!
Lace up those walking shoes and take a stand against substance use disorder (SUD) during the End Addiction BHAM Walk on Saturday, March 12. Taking place at Railroad Park from 10AM-2PM, the event includes: a free walk, greetings from Mayor Randall Woodfin, live music, free HIV testing + Narcan training and much more. You can even meet the 2022 Champion for the Cause.

Locals across Birmingham have been cleaning out their closets for Sweet Ham Alabama’s Spring Clean Sale on Saturday, March 12 from 1-4PM at Cahaba Brewing Company. Benefiting First Light, shop local vendors and sellers for all sorts of cool finds, like clothes, furniture and even homemade creations. Stick around for drinks + more, Cahaba Brewing hosts their ShamROCK celebration beginning at noon. Admission is free to both events.

Put your hands together in celebration of Bham’s community leaders. The Rotaract Club will honor these inspiring locals during their Foundation Ball this weekend. Take part of the action and attend the event at Regions Field on Saturday, March 12 at 7PM. Tickets.
