Calling all Bham foodies! If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the hunt for hidden, delicious restaurants around the city. I discovered that Ensley Five Points West has its fair share of hidden gems. We’ve gathered 11 restaurants in Five Points West-Ensley that you should give a try.
1. Tropical Grill
Love Caribbean cuisine? You have to try Tropical Grill. Their dishes have a spicy, sweet and tangy taste that’s finger licking good and will keep you coming back for more. The jerk chicken is a fan fave, but the beef patties and oxtails are just as good.

One of my personal favorites and a MUST-TRY is Green Acres. It is most known for its fried chicken wings paired with a basket of fries and white bread. I suggest ordering All The Way-flavored wings—ketchup, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
