Make-A-Wish Alabama’s largest fundraising event, the Trailblaze Challenge, is an endurance hiking event where participants hike 26.3 miles in one day along the Pinhoti Trail. This is the sixth year the Challenge has been hosted in Alabama with more than 600 people having participated in the event since its inception.

This year’s fundraising goal is set for 1 million dollars, which makes it one of the top grossing Trailblaze Challenge event in the US.

Participants will train over the course of 12 weeks with experienced trail support team members leading up to hike weekend. Not only will you find the support to crush your 2022 fitness goals, but you’ll also join a community of like-minded adventurers in your area.
