1. The Skin Studio
Ready for that Holiday pampering? The Skin Studio is officially booking facials, body sculpting, spa treatments and so much more. They recently had their first open house on November 6 and set the tone of organic skin care with fresh flowers, drinks and hor d’oeuvres to get you feeling that Southern hospitality.
Rocky Ridge Plaza has got a good one. Conveniently located in the heart of Vestavia, there’s never been a better time to treat yourself to one of your favorite treatments or try something new for a change. The best part? They’re also a Spanish speaking studio.

Oak House is a new restaurant concept from seasoned restaurant opener but new restaurant owner, Travis Grappo. Grappo, along with partner and landlord, Bill Thornton, are thrilled to open this new casual, upscale restaurant.
Serving brunch and dinner, Oak House combines contemporary American fare with a bright, sleek interior to bring you a fantastic dining experience. 3. Sweetie Couture
Sweetie Couture is one of the first Mercantile on Morris businesses to officially open their doors. After attending their soft opening a few weeks ago, we were hooked on all of the unique clothing items, home accents and overall vibes of Sweetie Couture.
Good things are on the horizon for Sweetie Couture. They are having their grand opening celebration on November 20. Be sure to follow their Instagram for the time of the event, their newest drops and overall announcements. Can’t make it to Mercantile on Morris? 4. Kamali Creole Kitchen
Want those classic Creole dishes just like your mama used to make? Kamali Creole Kitchen is getting a brick and mortar store in Lee Branch, and we are stoked to get to sample some of our favorites. Some of their specialties include authentic Po’Boys and a specialty drink called Peach Krack (pictured above), we are more than intrigued. Be sure to check them out for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
This new restaurant will be housed in the former Pablo’s location and is opening in stages. Owners Ryan and Qiana Emery started Kamali Creole Kitchen out of a food truck in 2019 and have finally found their home in Hoover. Stay up to date on Instagram for all things opening.
