EDEN Lounge, a new upscale bar and lounge concept located near 20 Midtown, is gearing up to officially open in Birmingham. We met with owner Collins Ngure to learn more & get a sneak peek at the new bar—keep reading to learn more!

Looking to experience something new in Birmingham? You don’t have to wait long. Local businessman Collins Ngure and his team have transformed a historic building on 20th Street South into a new bar & lounge, refurbishing the interior & exterior and creating a one-of-a-kind design.

Collins plans to create a unique experience with the EDEN Lounge, offering signature drinks, craft cocktails and more.

“With EDEN Lounge, we really want to introduce something new to Birmingham. Our vibe is definitely upscale, and we’ll have DJ’s playing Afrobeat and R&B music. On the weekends, we want to focus on day activities, day parties and brunches. We’ll be adding a kitchen in March and serving up some delicious foods like chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits and wings.”

However, you don’t have to wait until March to grab a bite to eat at the EDEN Lounge. One of Collins’ other ventures, the Sahani food truck, will make regular appearances outside the EDEN Lounge and will give visitors a chance to grub on “true Nairobi cuisine,” outside the lounge. Eventually, Collins plans to convert the food truck into a full-time kitchen at the EDEN Lounge.
