Mountain Brook’s Lane Parke is adding a new restaurant called Chop N Fresh to its ever increasing portfolio of popular dining options.

The “salad concept” eatery is located where Revelator Coffee once resided, near Publix GreenWise Market and adjacent to A’mano. This is the first Chop N Fresh in the Birmingham area and the third in Alabama. They expect to open their doors in mid-November.

What can you expect at Chop N Fresh?

Bham Now caught up with Dedra Miele, a co-owner of the Lane Parke location.

“It is a salad concept with fresh ingredients. We will be buying from local purveyors. We want to keep it local,” she told us. “We have nine traditional salads, and three different types of seasonal salads. We also have the option where you can come in and build your own salad.”

The Dressing

According to Miele, the dressings that are made fresh daily is what makes Chop N Fresh special.

“What makes us unique is that we make our own dressing,” she said. “Currently, we have 12 dressings, and we make them fresh daily. They’re all made from scratch. None of our recipes are purchased. We make them every morning.”
