Ignite Cycle heats up Mountain Brook with a new location opening
Get ready to feel the heat, Mountain Brook! Ignite Cycle is expanding their footprint in the Greater Birmingham area. The cycling extraordinaire will open a second location in Lane Parke just in time for New Year’s resolution season.
There is a bike for you
Ignite Cycle is Birmingham’s only cycling studio. It is a lifestyle workout that, according to Ignite Cycle “ignites a fire in you with every drop of sweat”. Can you say life transforming or what?
Tiffany Martin, Ignite Cycle Founder and Chief Executive Officer, told the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ) that she is excited to tap into a new market.
Martin explained the inconvenience the Mountain Brook community experienced trying to ride with the company. It was the first stop on the expansion list— it’s actually been in the works for several years.
Perfect time to join the ride
Mountain Brook’s Lane Parke team had conversations with Martin in October 2019 but put a hold on it in March or April 2020 during the peak of the pandemic.
They figured now is as great a time as any to start the opening process with society opening back up.
The grand opening date is not confirmed. However, Martin said the new building should be open at the beginning of the upcoming year. AKA perfect timing for New Year’s resolutions to add some activity to your day.
Ignite is on its way
Speaking of resolutions, Ignite Cycle seems to have a fire one of their own. The company plans to grow the team to accommodate the new location.
They will join other tenants like Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream and BaseCoat On Fifth in Lane Parke’s second phase of retail development.
