Mayawell is one of Birmingham’s favorite spots for mezcal and tequila cocktails. They’re kicking it up a notch for spooky season, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Above is the “Cool Your Jets,” a spicy/sweet cocktail featuring tequila, mezcal, poblano, guava, coconut water and lime. The local hotspot is also serving up a full fall menu, highlighting flavors like crisp apple, spiced pumpkin, coffee and more.

2. Queen Park’s Annual Halloween Party, Oct 29-31 🎃

Queen’s Park takes Halloween seriously with their annual Halloween party. This year, they’ll be serving up punch from a smoking punch bowl, a boozy cocktail with creepy crawly ice and a black and orange frozen cocktail!

Even the bar itself is getting into the spirit, it will be decked out as a Tim Burton Halloweenfest. You don’t want to miss this ghostly get-together.

3. Halloween cocktails galore at Pilcrow Cocktail Cellar 👻

If Pilcrow’s secret location doesn’t give off enough spooky vibes, then this should do the trick. They are going ALL OUT for Halloween, and we are here for it.

On top of their terrifically terrifying decor, they’re serving up some extra spooky sips. Don’t miss the Bunnicula (pictured above) with blanco tequila, carrot, agave, lemon and jalapeño.

4. Grab a Witch’s Brew at The Fennec 🧙‍♀️

The Fennec is a Bham Now favorite, and we can’t wait to pop over for their Halloween sips. Just check out this Witch’s Brew, described as, “an Elegant Enigmatic blend of light citrus and warm spices with a surprise interactive element.” And it has edible glitter, too!

Don’t worry, we’re not spoiling the mystery element—you’ll have to go down for yourself to see what the spooky surprise is.

The Lumbar never disappoints for Halloween fun, and this year they’ve released a full menu of “Cocktails That Go Bump In The Night,” and we’re ready to sample them all. I’ve got my eye on the Poison Apple.

Their current theme of “Nightmare on 29th Street” runs through October 31, so don’t miss it.

6. The Hive is getting spooky 😈

Home to the only rooftop bar in Five Points, arcade games + duckpin bowling, The Hive is a must-visit on your Halloween itinerary.

They’re serving up a spooky “Purple People Eater,” made with vodka, spiced rum, blue curacao, grenadine, sour and cranberry. Don’t forget the gummy worm garnish!
