The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham empowers women 💪

First things first—what is the Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham? I’m glad you asked, because this is a foundation that you need to know about.

The Women’s Fund is Alabama’s first (and only) philanthropic foundation focused on addressing the needs of women and girls. Since 1996, they’ve invested $6 million in research, advocacy and community organizations who are working with women to create economic opportunity for them and their families.

For over a decade, The Women’s Fund held Smart Party to celebrate the brilliant women of Birmingham. This year, they’re reintroducing the event in a hybrid format under a new name: Unleashed, a Philanthroparty. PS—this is The Women’s Fund’s 25th anniversary, and they’re celebrating in style.
