I’m someone who loves supporting local businesses and keeping my home smelling amazing. Local candles are one of my go-to products to pick up as a gift—for others or for myself if we’re being honest here.

We’ve included Crave Candles in several guides in the past, including this highlight on 5 local hand-poured candle companies in Birmingham, and this holiday guide that includes 7 gifts from Bham makers for the person who could use a little pampering.

Crave Candles Co. creates small-batch, hand-poured luxury soy candles, crafted from the highest quality ingredients and essential oils.

Bonus: they smell amazing, they’re stunning and they’re poured right here in Birmingham.

The New Partnership

Founder and owner of Crave, Lori Newell, always envisioned something big for this company. That vision is coming to life in 2021 with an impressive new partnership.

Crave Candles Co. will now be found in Saks Off 5th Avenue, a luxury department store chain with 90 locations across the U.S. and 18 locations in Canada.

This is big news for this Birmingham company—and we love seeing Bham small biz succeed.

Want to see (I mean, smell) what makes Crave Candles Co. stand out? You can shop online here to snag one up for yourself.

My recommendation? You really can’t go wrong, but Midnight Citrus and Desert Blossom are my personal favorites.
