Tecovas, the legendary fine bootmaker and western goods retailer from Texas is opening its first store in Alabama at The Summit on Friday, November 20th.

Known for its service and handcrafted boots, the Tecovas Birmingham location will be the company’s 13th store. The establishment at The Summit will be the company’s second east of the Mississippi. The other location is on King Street in Charleston, South Carolina.

The company also prides itself on customer service. In fact, customers can make personal appointments and they have a restoration program for your Tecovas boots.

Tecovas is located next to Untuckit and near Anthropologie on the Cheesecake Factory side of The Summit.

The Grand Opening kicks off on Friday, November 20th at 10:00am. There will be live music, complimentary boot shines, beverages and the first 50 people in the door on November 20-22 will receive a free gift. Here are the hours:

  • Friday, 11/20: 10AM – 8PM
  • Saturday, 11/21: 10AM – 8PM
  • Sunday, 11/22: 12PM – 6PM
