With such an extensive list of services, the Hoover medical center promises care to a wide range of people. Not to mention, it’s the perfect location to Hoover residents.

“The new facility’s outpatient primary and specialty care clinics will complement Medical West’s freestanding emergency department in Hoover, also located at exit 10 on I-459. In addition, Medical West’s replacement hospital will be built just 9 miles west along I-459 in McCalla, which will provide further access to UAB Medicine services for the residents of southern and southwestern Jefferson County.”

Will Ferniany, Ph.D., CEO, UAB Health System

One factor in building the Hoover medical center did actually ride off the fact that traffic can seriously impact how you get to the doctor. Besides the hassle of sitting on the highway for the length of a Grey’s Anatomy episode, doctor’s visits are usually squeezed between busy schedules.

“Looking at all the growth in Hoover and different demographics, we saw a need to build a larger facility and let our specialists expand to our medical building.”

Patients can easily access the new medical center from 150. The fact that it’s located in Stadium Trace Village among other businesses like Aldi and Tre Luna Bar & Kitchen sets it up in the ideal spot.

“The city of Hoover has been really great to work with, they’ve been really supportive.”
