Help Raise Baskets of Cash
Watch as the UAB Blazers men’s basketball team fires up court against the Memphis Tigers in the Bartow Classic this Saturday, December 7. The event celebrates the life and legacy of Gene Bartow, UAB’s legendary coach and athletics director, while raising money for the Gene Bartow Memorial Fund for Cancer Research—a fund established in his honor. For each ticket sold, UAB Athletics donates $2 to the fund. The game tips off at 4:30PM at UAB’s Bartow Arena. Buy your tickets and get ready to cheer!
Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Full Color Full “Moon” Over Homewood
Vulcan lights up Birmingham’s sky on Sunday, December 8 during the annual Magic of Lights: Vulcan’s Holiday Light Experience. Expect lively dancing lights choreographed to holiday music, no-snow sledding, Santa Vulcan and much more! The event lasts from 5-9PM with a 15-minute light show beginning at the top of each hour.
