Santa’s coming! Santa’s coming! The jolly toy maker will be making appearances across Birmingham in the coming weeks. Below are the spots to find him.
1) The Summit
Friday, November 22nd is the Lights Up Holiday Parade and Fireworks Show at The Summit. Santa will be in attendance, and there’s a free Santa photo booth sponsored by Mountain High Outfitters from 5-5:45PM on the Kendra Scott Patio. The parade starts at Barnes & Noble at 6PM!

You can also find Santa at the Summit on Saturdays starting November 23 from noon to 6PM. It’s free to visit him and photos are available for purchase. There’s also a Sensory Santa event on December 16 from noon to 6PM. and Santa Paws event December 12 at the same time.
2) Singing Santa’s Arrival Celebration at Brookwood Village
Brookwood Village’s Singing Santa tradition continues November 22. In addition to Santa’s arrival, there will be activities for the family near the mall’s food court. If you can’t make it there on Friday, don’t sweat it—Santa will be at Brookwood daily until Christmas Eve!

3) Santa Special at the Heart of Dixie Museum
It’s time for the kiddos to tell Santa what they want for Christmas! They’ll get the opportunity by hopping on board the vintage train at the Heart of Dixie Museum in Calera. The Santa Special train ride lasts one hour. Make sure to bring your camera to snap that special photo!

4) Pet Photos with Santa at Sheppard’s Pet Supply
Our four-legged family members don’t have to miss out on the Santa fun. Put your pup in his best Christmas sweater and bring him to Sheppard’s Pet Supply for a photo opp! Fetch: A Treat Truck for Dogs will also be onsite for the pups, and Ono Ice is providing treats for the humans. Photos with Santa are $15 and proceeds benefit Birmingham Boston Terrier Rescue.

5) Bass Pro Shop in Leeds
You can get a free photo with Santa at Bass Pro Shop until December 24 as part of their Santa’s Wonderland event. A Bass Pass is required, and more info can be found here. In addition to seeing Santa in person, your kids can also write letters to him, play games and make crafts.

6) Riverchase Galleria
Santa will be taking photos at the Galleria until Christmas Eve. Hours vary. Packages and pricing are below!

7) Breakfast with Santa in Vestavia
We all know Santa has a sweet tooth. The whole family is invited to a pancake breakfast with Santa courtesy of the City of Vestavia Hills.

8) Mountain Brook Holiday Parade
Mountain Brook Village’s annual holiday parade is December 8. There’s also storytime at the Emmet O’Neal Library.
