L’Chaim 2019
The Birmingham Holocaust Education Center will be holding their annual fundraiser, L’Chaim, this August. L’Chaim (“to life”) is a celebration honoring Alabama’s Holocaust survivors and their families.
The event will also include special musical entertainment from The Magic Shtetl Klezmer Band and a dessert reception following the program.

Dragon Boat Festival
You hear that? It’s the beat of dragon boats gliding into Birmingham for our city’s first ever Dragon Boat Race and Festival.
Benefitting Mitchell’s Place, an inclusive accredited preschool and outpatient clinic that specializes in improving the lives of children (and their families) affected by autism and other developmental disabilities.
During this exciting event, expect:
