The Alabama Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committee is throwing Beers for Alz, a free event on August 1st from 5:30-8:30PM at 20 Midtown hosted at Birmingham District Brewing Co. Read on to learn more about the event.

Come hang out and network with your friends and colleagues, eat some good food, have a couple of drinks and learn about the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. You will even have the chance to register for this year’s walk on September 29. Check out their facebook!

What to expect:

• 10% of all sales from Birmingham District Brewing Co. and Wasabi Juan’s will go back to the Alabama Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
• Local vendors: YP Birmingham, Magic City Nutrition and more.

The Walk

This year on September 29th, the Alabama Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting Birmingham’s 5th Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Sloss Furnaces. It’s free to register so sign up now!

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

  • Ceremony: 3PM
  • Walk: 3:15PM
