On Wednesday, October 31st, the Hoover Metropolitan Complex opened its newest feature, the “Hoover Climbing & Adventure.”

Hoover Mayor Frank V. Brocato, Hoover City Council Members, Hoover Parks and Recreation Board Members, Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, were all on hand for the ribbon cutting and grand opening.

Hoover Climbing & Adventure features over 15 themed climbing walls including the “leap of faith”, Skyscraper walk, beanstalk climb, and multiple race obstacles.

“Today’s ribbon cutting is another example of the state-of-the-art offerings here at The Hoover Met Complex,” said Hoover Mayor Frank V. Brocato.

Hoover Met Complex Portfolio is Growing

The new attraction adds to the Hoover Met Complex portfolio which includes the recently opened Finley Center (2017), Hoover Met Stadium and plethora of sports fields. Recent major events have included, the East Coast Pro Baseball scouting event and the Junior League’s Market Noel.

The Climbing and Adventure Details

Hoover Climbing & Adventure is available for birthday parties, group, or corporate events and daily passes are available for purchase.

“This new addition to The Finley Center is the perfect place for a family outing, group event with friends or team building with a company,” said Hoover Met Complex’s General Manager, John Sparks. “We look forward to welcoming visitors to Hoover Climbing & Adventure!”

The minimum age for Hoover Climbing & Adventure is five years, and climbing harnesses are provided for each guest. The Hoover Met Complex will make age-appropriate modifications for younger groups by limiting group size and duration of events or admissions.

The School-year hours of Operation are:

Monday – Thursday: 3PM – 8PM
Friday: 3PM – 9PM
Saturday: 10AM – 9PM
Sunday: Available for private parties only
