If you’ve been following Blueprint on 3rd’s progress like we have, you’re definitely hungry for the grand opening happening today at Pepper Place! Here are the latest updates. 

In our last article, we shared ideas from partners Dean Robb and James Keet about their new restaurant to be located at Pepper Place in Birmingham. Today is the day those visions come to life! Blueprint on 3rd opens their doors at the old Birmingham Blue Print Co. building (or should we say the new “B3” building?) this evening and invites eager foodies to try their take on Southern cuisine.

Grand opening

Tonight we’re expecting Blueprint on 3rd to open at 5 p.m. Pepper Place posted B3’s future hours, which are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, along with the bar from 4 p.m. until close. As far as we know, the same hours go for the grand opening.

What to expect

Here’s a tiny taste straight from Dean Robb’s Twitter of what you can expect from the dishes at B3.

On June 2nd, Blueprint on 3rd provided Pepper Place market-goers with a sneak peek of B3 flavors. Attendees collected samples from the chefs for a chance to experience the brasserie style firsthand. Later that day, Chef James Huckaby cooked up these delicious looking chanterelles, a type of wild mushroom. You can expect the same chef-level excellence from the rest of the items on the menu.

Next, Robb tweeted a presentation of the West Indies Chickpea Salad, which you can expect to see at B3. To us it looks tangy, savory and sweet all in one. We can’t wait to try it!
