Did you know worldwide, everyday, 2,195 children die from waterborne diseases?
Birmingham based non-profit, Neverthirst, has made it their mission to combat such an issue through advancing “the Gospel through clean water worldwide”.
One of many ways Neverthirst involves the local community is through their annual event, Workout for Water; this year’s event is on May 5th, 9:00 am, at Avondale Park.
How to get Involved
When you’re working out, walking or jogging, especially here in hot, muggy Birmingham, a sip of clean, cold water is something you might take for granted. Imagine if you didn’t have clean water to drink when you needed it.
You can make a difference by joining Neverthirst’s high-energy Workout for Water 2018, at Avondale Park, on May 5th. This special event will have you moving and drinking (water!) to raise awareness of the global water crisis and help our brothers and sisters around the world.
