Some of our favorite things; music and pizza and craft beer, they go together like…well, like music and pizza and beer! SliceFest is a summer festival that celebrates many of the things we are passionate about.
The summer festival season is about to be in full swing, and this one is really a fun celebration! On June 16, SliceFest, which has grown from a small parking-lot party to Birmingham’s largest food and music block party will return. This is the 7th annual SliceFest hosted by Slice Pizza & Brewhouse in the charming Lakeview area of Birmingham.

The two stages, the main stage and the local stage, will have some exciting local and regional headliners like Big Gigantic, Original Wailers, Too Many Zooz and others! As Jason Bajalieh, co-owner and co-founder of Slice Pizza & Brewhouse once said. “It’s a solid collaboration of festival to funk …”
With a ticket purchase get free admission to all the bars and restaurants in Lakeview contained within the festival area. There will also be a family area loaded with fun children’s activities, as well as cool vendors and Birmingham’s beloved food trucks.
After the festival is over for the night, stick around the area, many of the venues have additional live music afterward.
If you love this festival like we do or just want the royal treatment consider becoming a SliceFest VIP.
The VIP ticket allows access to the historic Avon Theatre located next to the main stage. This venue will be transformed into a swank, cool place to get out of the sun and lounge a bit.
The VIP experience also includes a free SliceFest T-shirt, two complimentary meals and free local craft brews of all kinds, wine and soft drinks as long as supplies last. With a VIP credential, you’ll probably bump into the bands hanging out before they take the stage. Sounds like pretty sweet VIP treatment!
What could be better than a swank VIP lounge to kick back in, free food, beer and hanging with the musical acts? You can check out the lineup here.
