Prepaid Technologies, a local tech firm that helps customers and employees manage digital payments, has recently expanded its team by more than 30 percent.

After teaming up with Visa to explore wearable technology at the 2016 Olympics, Prepaid Technologies has announced they will soon be expanding their technology to include near-field wearable payment devices.

You heard right.

Needless to say, we’re proud of this Birmingham company for evolving with technology trends while still maintaining its dedication to improving the Birmingham economy.
