Ten events to try and see next week

If you only have time (or cash) for ten events next week, have I got a list for you!  That’s right, it’s a top ten, for events coming next week!  I try to include youtube links to music when I can, so don’t click things if you’re at work and aren’t using headphones.  In the spirit of different strokes for different folks and not actually having seen them yet, I’m not going to rank any of these.

Mardis Gras @ The J. Clyde – Birmingham Mountain Radio and The J. Clyde are hosting a Mardis Gras party benefiting Childrens’ of Birmingham (the hospital, they’re not just giving cash to random kids).  Cajun food, drinks from Fairhope Brewing Company, music by Tragic City, and a chance to win free passes to The Hangout music fest in Gulf Shores this May!  Feb 28, doors open 6PM.  Read more

20,000 Freaks Under the Sea @ Workplay – C4 Productions presents its next famed costume party – One “night of nautical naughtiness” featuring Ott, Moglee, Biolux, Little Raine Band, and LeeJ.  Neon Electric hosts Katie and John Gaiser bring the light to go along with the sound.  March 3 starting 7.30PM.  Read more
