This week, inside the UAB iLab, 1Million Cups Birmingham hosted not only a Birmingham entrepreneur, but also students from Huffman Academy.

I am thankful for the instructors/teachers who understand the importance of exposing young students to innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology.

Priding itself on the comparison of an Uber for the Crane Industry, LiftitWorks is a solution for contractors to find those who do the heavy lifting (cranes).

Being a startup, the model is an app. based solution which connects, helps select, and secure crane services for businesses. Currently in the planning stage, there is no website, but that is the next order of business.
